As the director of doctors in Singapore General Hospital explained, the doctors face all the problems, woes and negativities from their patients and their patients’ families. They need a place to relax, destress and refresh to give them the courage and ability to help others. Thus the Medical Club was conceived.
A 4,500 sq. ft. space to help the doctors of SGH not only to revitalise but to socialise and interact to each other and in most cases study and resolve issues regarding patients. The premises consist of lounges, a meeting room, massage area and a diner where the doctors themselves can cook and prepare their own food. The overall concept is cozy and soothing; a mecca for requiescence for the doctors.
